labour day

 Labour day is a day when workers get a day off work .My dad got the day off work to. Well I think so I can,t  remember if he did or didn't but any way what I did in the  long weekend was ruining around my house squirting water at me and my brother and sister . The best bit of it was that we were wearing our cloths getting wet and cold we laughed so much and I had so much fun  on labour day. 

My holiday

In the school holidays. On Friday I went to flip city with Carys for her party .The people that came was Kaia.R, Otoha, Mion and Emma-rose. We tried to get up on to the 2 meter wall. Out of  them I was the first one to get on top.We played dodge ball four a while.Then we ate pizza and it was delicious!.After that we had chocolate cake with allot of m&m's on it 🎂.

 Hi! on Monday we started a new book for Chapter Chat. The name of the book is called because of Winn-Dixie.It is about a dog and a girl called Opal .Her dad was a preacher at the start of the book Opal fond Winn-Dixie  at a fruit and vegetable shop. The manager that owned the shop said if no one got this dog out of his shop he would call the pound. So Opal said that is my dog do not call the pound and the name of the shop was Winn-Dixie so that was how Winn-Dixie got his name. At first when Opal found Winn-Dixie he was smelly and had bold places . But he was not smelly anymore because Opal gave Winn-Dixie a nice wash when they got home. And that was how Opal and Winn-Dixie became friends.

the Dance

Today we did folk dancing.My partner was a girl her name was called Kauri .The song that we dance to is called wake me up . In 4 days time on Friday we will preform at Nga purapura at 6:00. The dace is called Virginia Reel.Our class is doing it with room 6 . 

Rippa rugby

Hi my name is Kaia. On Monday at 12:45 me and my class hopped on to the bus and went  to the domain. We went to the domain because Monday is Rippa Rugby day.The schools that went are Te Rito Otaki St Peter Chanel WRM and us. Rippa Rugby was amazing we got to play 4 games .Our tags were the colour red and my class had so much fun .The best thing was that the girls got to go first most of the time.

Today we learnt about wells. And how people walk so far just to get water.
keeping our brain hydrated is very important.And it has been 
amazing to learn about wells.Well means lots of things like well done+great job. Get well+get better.And as well.
